Insurance

We accept:

  • Aetna

For insurance carriers not listed above, you may use your plan’s out-of-network benefits. Most HSA/FSA cards can also be used to pay for therapy.

Using Out-of-Network Benefits for Therapy

You may be able to use your health insurance benefits for therapy even when your therapist is not in your insurance company’s network.

Many insurance plans include out-of-network mental health benefits, which may reimburse you for a portion of the cost of counseling.

At Rockport Counseling, we can also submit out-of-network claims on your behalf, saving you the time and inconvenience of preparing and submitting reimbursement requests yourself.

Fees

For those not using insurance, our private pay fees are:

  • Initial Intake and Diagnostic Session: $200

  • Regular Individual Therapy Session (53 min): $130

Sliding Scale Available

Through our participation in the Open Path Collective network, we are able to offer a limited number of sessions at a sliding-scale rate.

Signing up is not difficult and does not require proof of income.

Payment

We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, Venmo, and cash or check.

Most HSA/FSA cards can also be used as payment, but you should confirm with your provider.

Unless other arrangements are made, payment is due at the time of your appointment. Payment is required for appointments missed with no notice.

Free Consultation

Finding a therapist can be stressful, especially if it is your first time, which is why we are happy to talk with potential clients before scheduling an initial session. Even if you do not have specific questions, sometimes it helps just to get a sense of whether we seem like a good fit.
